Viewfinder offers executive producer advisory services to producers and rights-holders in film and television.
OUR WORK
We work closely with our clients to devise the appropriate financing and distribution strategies for their projects, using our knowledge of the market place to formulate finance plans, recommend and approach suitable financiers, and close the necessary deals to take these projects to financial green-light.
Viewfinder Film is a trading name of Wiggin LLP’s well-established executive producing service, which has supported producers in raising finance for numerous feature films; the most recent of these being The Choral starring Ralph Fiennes and directed by Nicholas Hytner, Bad Apples starring Saoirse Ronan, and Irish football comedy Fran The Man. Previous films include the Sundance hit Rye Lane, the Oscar-winning The Father, Blue Story, Allelujah, I Used To Be Famous, The Lady In the Van, Dad's Army, The Children Act, The Eagle, The History Boys, Venus, Walking With Dinosaurs and the animation films Scrooge and The Canterville Ghost.

We tailor our services to fit the detailed requirements of each project, and therefore the number of projects that we can take on is necessarily limited. Although Viewfinder part of Wiggin, it is not a condition of engagement that Wiggin provides legal services on the projects on which we work.

Paul Grindey
Viewfinder is headed by Paul Grindey, a media executive and lawyer with extensive experience in film, television and digital content. Paul was previously Head of Business Affairs for Film, Drama and Comedy at Channel Four, with a remit encompassing the prolific and award-winning Film4 productions, and all Channel Four’s scripted television output.
Charles Moore
Charles has built a career as a specialist in all aspects of film and television production, financing and distribution and is widely regarded as one of the UK’s leading entertainment lawyers, in addition to having established Wiggin Executive Production to assist producers source funding and distribution for their projects. Charles was previously a partner at Wiggin LLP, and a studio executive at Paramount Pictures and Fox Searchlight Pictures in Los Angeles.
